Commander is out of a money earning reiner by Shining Spark by a Dam that won over $28,000 in the NCHA. He has the right pedigree crossing modern reining bloodlines with the longevity and confirmation of the older foundation cutting bloodlines. He is a Foundation Quarter Horse Registry Stallion and with impeccable confirmation and docile nature is a great outcross on any Dual Rey and High Brow Cat mares.
Commander had a limited show record due to ownership transfer from the J bar D ranch to Flying Diamond Performance Horses. With the J Bar D Ranch he racked up 102 performance points in the NRCHA and a LTE of $8,785. Currently he spends the winter months in AZ in roping training with plans to further his career in the open rope horse categories.
He is versatile like his foals and is still used for daily ranch duties, he is built to last with a motor to go all day. He has proven to not only be a show horse, but also one heck of a nice ranch horse in rough Wyoming country gathering and branding cattle.
Commander is known for throwing a willing, gentle mind with lots of cow and color to boot. The average price of his foals is $10k – $15k already (with a waitlist) and with the new incentives and foals hitting the show pens, the demand for a Commander foal will continue to climb!
